What class for Evo at the auto x??
My friend bought a Evo last month but now it has 3000k on it (just break in). He drove the car from Portland to San Francisco twice (want to break it in faster )
He has been autocross with his old car for a while (99 Miata) but now he is planing to autocross with his Evo. Do you guys know which class will he be running?? As far as the car concern it is bone stock. I know that the E46 M3 use to be in the Super Stock but got bump down to A-stock so we don't know what the deal with the Evo...
Thank you in advance....and for preference my friend doesn't use internet!!! (so far behind the world )

In theory, Super Stock is faster than A Stock which is faster than B Stock which is faster than C stock, ... all the way down to H stock, which are the slowest stock cars.
Examples:
Super Stock = 911 Turbo
A Stock = Lancer Evo
B Stock = 350Z
C Stock = BMW Z3 (4 cyl)
D Stock = WRX
E Stock = Mazda RX-7 (non-turbo)
F Stock = Mitsu 3000GT Turbo
G Stock = Dodge Neon
H Stock = Lancer (non-turbo)
In Solo II autocrossing, driver skill is much more important than the car class -- it is not uncommon to see H Stock cars doing faster times than Super Stock cars.
