I just ordered some Hankook 211 tires at a big discount, hope their worth more than the price. $133 for 275.40.17

an added benefit of running the hankook tires for those running NASA TT is that there is contingency money available (something around $150 per day for first place, need to have 4 competitors running, $75 for first place with 3 competitors). potentially $300 for a weekend will at least cover your registration fees.

I just got a set of NT's installed today, won't be able to track them until Robi visits. However as far as getting a set (255/40/17 as well) physically go to a discount tire store and they'll order them, mount them, lifetime warr. them for repairs and such, for 198 a tire...best bang for the buck imo.
