Thunderhill 042307 video

Only got a video of one session today. I spun pretty hard which involved me flying off the track backwards at a high rate of speed (in turn 2 nonetheless) the session before this so this session was a little more lax because of it. I get a little sloppy on some lines throughout the video but oh well. Not my fastest laps by far.

The FPgreen works great as a track turbo, being able to run it at lower boost and making much more power than the stock turbo was at higher boost levels is great at the track because of less heat.

I shot this video from a different vantage point than my previous vids. I wanted to see more of what I was doing.

I didn't realize how many times I wipe my hands on my pants during sessions. :x Time for some gloves! I also mounted my mic in a different place but the sound wasn't very good.

Was a gorgeous day out, all the mountains on the horizon had snow caps and the weather was great.

Enjoy!

no wonder your 4th gear breaks easily, that is what you're in most of the time. invest on some driving gloves

Had to get used to the video angle, but the quality is fantastic as usual. Have you considered adding a 2nd camera (e.g. bullet cam) to get your footwork?

I really wish I had time to drive Thunderhill before leaving the west coast. I have heard nothing but great things about the track. I guess I have a good reason to come back and visit.

It's in BFE, but it is a GREAT track, you get a little bit of everything there, off camber, sweepers, high speed, blind corners, etc.

Yea at some point I would love to add a 2nd cam either outside or for the feet.

That's a fact. I ran a couple laps there, 4th gear only, and ran 2:02's..

I enjoy driving that track, Thanks for the vid.
