All in all, it was a great day.

'Viper Days' put on a great track event. Sadly a yellow Archer Viper rolled Saturday, I think the driver was ok though. Because of the roll-over they cancelled the full track (new track ext.) and went to half track for Sunday. Alot of the Viper owners were *****ing about the new track extension, they didnt like it.

I wish I would have went Saturday, although the old track configuration suited the evo better than the big track would off.

Robi you rock bro... nothing else I can say. We stayed quick because of you. Car was amazing.

We sorted, messed with the car and race-line all day.... had the best session at the end of the day, but the Hoosiers had enough by then, corded and shot. Still, clicked off the best lap time for that run group and we had ran those times all day. Everyone else slowed down but we stayed consistant, even with the alterations & playing around.

The Viper crowd was very impressed, they thought we would be slow.. and we laid down the law. Viper guys were cool, with the exception of the 'race Viper guys' that got their little feelers hurt when they got passed by a 'full interior with A/C daily driven japo 4-door crap box'.

So basically it was a Viper hunt, with exception of the World Challenge style Competition Coupe's (they were about 4-6 seconds faster, different run group).

Yeah were was the Viper @ all I see is a Dodge product....Anyways it looked like fun and your front end looks sweet. How hard is it to see out of those mirrors.

Nils sensetive side likes the S2K endcaps..(I think they are a little girlie but hey what do I know...) Yeah as the tires were giving up we were able to maintain lap times..we got to get you racing!!!

Nils is kind of modest here...only 3 of the 8 comp coups were running faster laptimes than he was.....and two of these faster coups couldn't finish their 1 hour race because of overheating / brakes clutches etc. If nils would have run the race (and after the run groups there was NO WAY the coup guys wanted him running) he would have finished 2nd...Man I LOVE EVO's hunting down BIG GAME!

Percy, Round Pro, Wes, We ran Pahrump track, springmountain motorsports ranch. Very technical and fun track.

V rod, I never had a chance to run the new track configuration.

ran pretty much 1:54's all day in advanced run group with lots of traffic. Only got a couple of clean laps, if that.

DCSilvrEvo, wannaevo, guys... it is 3 photos (3milliseconds of a day).. in no way do 3 photos represent a whole day worth of tracking.... like I said, video on the way. You'll see plenty of Vipers, trust me.

 

unfortunately Jason was there during lunch so I coudnt give him a ride around the track.. but him and Robi had a good talk. I think he enjoyed it

 

ok, got some minor video together... please note that this video was during session 2 in which we were trying alot of different lines in effort o pick up more speed, some stuff worked and other stuff didnt. Please also note that the Viper comp coupe infront of me had to have had the worst driver ever in it.
