Who thinks the Honda S2000 CR (club racer) model is going to be the dominant SOLO2 A Stock car next year?

I've read reviews on SCC and SportsCar and it has everything going for it.
Lighter
Stiffer springs
Stiffer shocks
Larger Sway bars front and rear
~13:1 steering ratio (EVO like)
The S2000s are already very competetive in AS, the newer CR model will really kill the competition, IMHO. Thoughts?

From: somewhere testing various tires, brakes, and suspensions.
Now if they could just get more power into one of those...but it looks like a good base to start a project off of...and for almost 40k...they are crazy.
People who only get this car for auto-x and track days will probably get the one for $36,600 sans AC and Stereo ... I honestly think this car will be the one to have if you want a good chance of competing in A-Stock nationally. Again it's definately not cheap (by my meager standards) ...

Neither. It's essentially their track only model that they've pulled out all the stops on. It's lightweight as they can get it and as powerful as they can get it AND still reliable as a Honda ever was.
The CR is definately a different trim and different trims end up in the same class as long as no significant engine/power upgrades are done. Eg: The Solstice Z0K suspension packages is allowed in CS .... same with the Mazda Miata suspension upgrade MSR package in CS ... The Mini Cooper sport suspension upgrade is allowed in GS ....
1300 - 1600 are being produced, so it should definately be legal for stock ....
