Not Bret. World challege should give it away.

either way, i think the center diff is fine. The front diff is the real problem. A 1way clutch type front diff would probably be my first choice to fix the rodeo. Assuming of course that I was unable to reprogram the acd controller.

grice is right, Bret was 2nd my car at the '03 nats, and I had coil-overs then.

Vesko did the Norton ProSolo and was 2nd in ESP there in '04, I got 3rd.

I also think any front diff that works when your inside wheel is in the air, will reduce the difference in front -rear wheels speeds the ACD has to deal with. Your car is lower in the rear than most Evos, and is one of the only Evos I've seen pick up the front tire.

Nice aero BTW, looks like the adjustment range of the brackets and high angle rear wing struts are working.

I knew someone was running a WC Evo, but I didn't know the name. I just looked for a 2nd place finish in ESP . . .

Rick, the wing mounts are working GREAT! I will get you some more detailed pics of exactly how we made it work - basically the T-brackets, a support plate, some special rivets, and some expanding foam, and some wicked special epoxy . . .

BTW, how hard would it be to get a taller set of uprights made up?

I've had it on my 03 bsp car since last year too. Mostly results in front wheelspin on the VCU equipped cars, kinda feels like a FWD car. Basically you can feel it sometimes, more than likely you hear the revs jump up. I've had the car popping the limiter and finally getting grip and actually hitting the top of 2nd later on.

I knew it was light but didn't know I was lifting until someone watching from outside told me.

I think a longer stroke front damper would help as you can run a tender with some rate and still have some load on the tire. It also helps with bump compliance alot. I can't explain how much I really don't like these short stroke dampers (be it Tein or Ohlins).

Maybe around 3" higher than the ones I have now? You have a design for anything close to that?

No but we have the hard point data to CAD some up. We're talking 6" over the stock 10" ones.

LMK after testing if there are any issues strength wise with your big wing, as we make the struts as light as possible while maxing the structural design.

How's this for body roll guys? I like a compliant car...

This was @ Sebring on the paddock area & my car was sporting its street tire setup (and, yes, I was looking way ahead ).

I would get rid of the dead weight in the passenger seat! Less roll on left handers...

With the uprights you sent me the top of the trailing edge of the wing sits about even with the top of the car. Rules allow us to go 6" above the height of the car, so I thought I would try raising it up a bit to get some cleaner airflow . . . and to make it look even more HUGE!

As far as strength goes, I am estimating that it is around 4x as stiff laterally (side to side wobble), 2x as strong from front to back movement, and much stronger vertically than the prototype endplat/mount combo I had before. I think overall they weighed less than 1/2 of what the new mount system does, as they were made out of 1/8" aluminum sheet compared to stainless steel and what, 3/8" aluminum stock for the uprights?

I had the other mounts up to about 120mph with no ill effects. I have no doubt that the Ciro Designs mounts can take 150mph + with no problems . . .

I will talk with David @ DHP and see if he thinks it's worth me going taller. I will let you know how to proceed. . .

Need some quick help for tomorrow AM.

Does anyone have a rough calculation for comparing TOE in and out in degrees vs. inches?

For example, if you have 1/4" of toe out, how many degrees would that be? Thanks!

For those of you using r-compounds, typically what tire pressure do you run on or has worked best for you?
