Is it on the fender, or the actual body of the car? I run 275/40s on stock wheels with a spacer, and I have a seam on the body of the car that rubs if I have to turn to far under compression.

isn't that an error condition? I would check your ACD fluid levels.

i guess my wheel speed sensors went out, and wow those were way more expensive than i thought. lesson learned and im passing it on.

i took out my fender liners to get a look at what i was rubbing on and didnt even think about tieing up the wheel speed sensor lines. if you take out your fender liners TIE THESE UP because it cost me $500 to fix them after the fact...

Ran the EVO yesterday for the first time this year (at Winged Warrior). Took 1st in TOP GUN class in both the autocross and best E.T. portion of the drags.

I did however lose in the final round of Import vs. Domestic heads up drag eliminations to a modified Viper. I had run about 1/2 second faster than him, so I figured I'd take it easy out of the hole to save my drivetrain. Big mistake. He cut an awesome light and jumped about 3-4 lengths out in front of me. I was gaining on him hard at the top end but ran out of track. I needed about another 100 feet. I crossed the line about 1/4 car back. I actually had a better E.T., but he beat me on the tree. Sorry Team Import!

Anyway, it's going to be a fun year!

It ran an 11.4 @123, but with a poor 1.8 sixty foot time. I was running on my autocross tires with an autocross alignment (lots of camber).

I'm going to try again in a couple weeks using a set of drag slicks on ultralight wheels and also going to take off the big splitter and cannards to reduce drag. My goal is a 10.99 this year, but I don't know if it will be acheivable. . .

Nice work Jarrod. Sorry I couldn't come out to watch (or participate this year)....I was at some other track watching something called "Pole Day" for the Indy 500.

I'll see you at the Peru tour!

Yep 20G/EVOGreen!

BTW, I found out how to get our cars to turn in better! I was playing with some new rear camber and toe settings. Got the camber where I wanted it and took it for a drive. DANG! The thing wanted to turn just driving in a straight line at 35mph! Actually it sucked pretty bad. Double checked the specs and low and behold it had over an inch of toe out in the rear!! It felt like the rear wheels were going to fall off. . . Back to the alignment rack we go!

Speaking of rear toe adjustments, does anyone know how much one hatch mark of adjustment on each toe arm bolt changes the rear toe setting?

I know the feeling. I accidentally had a half inch of toe-out on my rear wheels over the winter, and whenever I changed lanes briskly on the highway, it felt like the rear wanted to just keep on rotating!

By the way, an easy, rough double-check on your rear toe is to squat behind the car and sight down the outside edge of one of the rear tires with one eye closed, looking towards the front tire (make sure the front tires are straight). If you have a reasonable range of rear toe, you should be able to see the lower part of your front tire, but not the upper part (due to the front camber). In your case, I'm willing to bet you couldn't see any of the front tire.

Mike
