Eh, you guys have fun

I ran the Full Race Manifold last year and and ebay SS o2 housing. Everyone is so concerned about low end torque and although it's important, if you look at a lot of our data logs from last year most of the time was spent above 4,000 rpms. Manifolds and o2 housings help on the big end and really that's where are cars are.
Any pics of the tires mounted?

Let me know about the aero parts.

Let know about the aero parts, I'll beat any price you find.
You are the cheapest one I've found Rick

I'll get some teaser pics up soon. Steve and I are putting a project build section up on his website www.zzyzxmotorsports.com and I'll be putting a lot of pics up there. He was laughing yesterday because he said my new stuff is going to have "Bling".

And Suraj, feel free to pic my brain all you want. My mom is staying in STU with the black car with just a few changes. She dumped the HKS stuff in favor of the ZZYZX. New wing, new seats, and some lighter rotors. We were pretty stoked with what we ended up with last year in terms of a set-up. It's obvious the cars were where they needed to be just not the drivers. Jerry and I both coned away were we wanted to be and I think mom got a littler nervous knowing she had a competitive car this year and kinda choked.

I'm also interested in a good high flow cat. The one ATLValet was selling looked great, and I think Nils is running it now, but it is super short sompared to stock, so it needs custom welded flanges. Or could I just splice it into my current test pipe? So far we have:

Random
Perrin
Cobb

What others?

Random Tech will throw a CEL. 2 of my buddies have had it go off on their EVOs and I'm currently running the mechanical CEL fix to avoid it. We are all running the 3" versions.

The ones Atlvalet is selling on SoCalEvos, are mine. It flows better than the other three mentioned. Just weld it into a cheap test pipe.

Sounds like a good tire, but it's not going to be a factor (yet) in STU as they only come in 235 or 255s. They have good sizes for STS and STX.

We're allowed to run light weight 2pc rotors.

. . . .
The eBay housing will give more HP and a little quicker spool up. It also sometimes causes boost creep. When I added it to my last car even if you diconnected the boost controller it would ramp up to 23psi by redline. . . This could be GOOD in ST class where you can't directly adjust boost.

I've heard stories of STU Subie guys running certain restrictive exhaust parts to intentionally cause boost creep at higher RPMS to legally get more boost and HP. . .

Save your money for next season. JIC's suck. They are horrible. 50% of the click adjustments don't change a thing. As for Mueller, last I heard was that even when you pay him for tuning your shocks he won't share the shock dyno graphs or tell you what rates he used. . . Hopefully for your sake things have changed in the past couple year. . .

Bummer. I was pretty happy to get mine, and if you are who I think you are, they used to be on your car a long time ago?

Oh I thought they were off the Tak+ (forgetting co-driver name right now) Showcase car.
Sorry for the tangent.
Back on topic: I'm curious how many in STU are running an open element air intake vs. the stock airbox? It doesn't seem like underhood/intake air temps would be as much of a concern in solo as it would in road racing? Or perhaps the lower airflow in solo and higher road racing speeds negates this, and it IS more of a concern in solo?
