WarmPepsi...

is this you being chased around by a civic hatch? (at about 2:25 or so?)

I'm thinking of buying a swapped hatch for the track, and ditching the evo. more track time, less $$$

I don't agree with that. For example, I had more fun flogging a 318ti around the 'Ring than the clearly faster GTI and M3 that I also got to drive.

obviously a subjective matter. I've never had more fun in an M3, vette, or a viper that I've taken around Summit Point than I've had in the lancer. I'm obviously a nutswinger.

Cool vid. I have a mildly modded zx3 with hoosiers that has been a troublefree underdog at my local roadcourses. There's something fun about driving some cars at 11/10ths and making up time in the turns than on all the straights....laughing as vettes wave you by cause they're slowing you down in the turns

I haven't trackdayed the evo yet since the focus is paid off and still has plenty of life left.

Naw, I would've killed for an Evo on the 'Ring. As it was, I just got to watch a few of them as they flew by me.

225 whp is impressive on B18c, man. Most of the all-motor guys generally hit about 205 or 210 at the max. I guess 84mm pistons and such may have helped, basically a 2.1 L, I am guessing!
