We are running a Championship this year, with points awarded to teams at every event, allowing us to crown a Season Champion at the end of the year.
Besides Redlines Time Attack, there is also NASA's TT series. NASA stands for National Auto Sport Association, and TT stands for Time Trial. In the TT series, youre competing for fastest lap. So its not w2w racing. NASA has 11 different regions, and their TT series has about 9 different classes. And with NASA, depending on the region, we do a good 20 events every season. The 2008 season in some regions has already started, but its never too late to join. I dont know how much experience you have, but if youre new to track events, youre going to have to run in their HPDE groups until they sign you off to run in TT. If you have a decent amount of experience, you may only need to run 1-2 days of their HPDE group until you get signed off. But if youre a seasoned veteran, and if you have some sort of recognizable racing license, eg SCCA, then i think they will probably allow you to run TT. To be certain, check out the proceeding links and send them an email.

The license question is important too; normally I have the FIA license but i Think is not good for American races Federation.
But in the past I got the CART Indycar license (was in 1991/2 years) I drove few races for an Indycar team; do you think would be OK for NASA rules?
Thank you.
Thank for the information

FIA is above NASA.. you should be fine.
The FIA should actually enable you to get your SCCA and NASA racing licenses, not just time trial.
Also.. in addition to Redline and NASA TT, there are the magazine events, such as the Grassroots Ultimate Track Car Challenge and the Super Street Time Attacks.. both of those come with good press coverage.

Thank you again.
