Sh*t...looked like he got LIGHTLY tapped...must have been the combo of the geforce/his wheel lifting on the downhill sloop, i mean that thing took flight....what's the Nasa link? Was the dude ok?

That was Brandon Kraus in his prelude, and he has made a full recovery since.

That looked pretty bad, but HANS and proper roll cage saved his life.

Ugh...makes me think twice about tracking my Evo with no cage. That sort of contact could easily happen even in HPDE4.

Physics is a b!tch! I think you have a spot where the car is real light going over a little yump and gets doinked in the wrong spot at the wrong time. End result is bad things.

Thank goodness he is ok... it was difficult listening to the voice of the guy on cam trying to check on the driver. Lots of emotion and tension. God bless the cage builders and other safety device makers.

And even at the end, you could hear Brandon crying/grunting out in pain... that was intense... Glad he recovered!

looked like drive tire of inside car was turned a bit and catapulted brandons car up right at that light spot of the right hander. Thanks for posting the NASA forum stuff to see he turned out alright.
