3rd in GT... nice run.

I wonder if this means he will be at Mid Ohio May 17th for the Club race. I will be there the 15th and 16th for the PCA DE and hope to see some folks there.

Sweet.
Good luck Jon, Leh, Devin, Rankins and everyone else. Be safe, drive hard. I'll keep up with Jon's blog.

Looks like you will miss pole day for the 500, Jon....but I plan to be at Carb day w/ the family.....you still making your annual pilgrimage to Indy?

Hey Will,

You still got the Ralliart? I would have remembered without you reminding though..

I will be coming up to Indy of course, yea.. I will miss pole day, but I should be there for qualifying day #2, and then carb day/race weekend. I don't miss that event.

Our blog will be started on www.trackpedia.com *hopefully* tonight. Still two more finals to go tomorrow before an entire day of machining things for the car. So, hopefully, I'll get a break tonight from the books to start the blog-thread.

Thanks for the good wishes Will and everyone!

Still got the Ralliart...but autocrossing an 89 Civic Si with a teammate. Made 33 passes this weekend at a test and tune and a points event......learned a lot about the car. Having a ton of fun. Going to be at Nationals this year too.
Have some future plans for the Ralliart perhaps....we'll see.
I'll send you a message before carb day maybe we can meet up.

On topic....I noticed you mentioned Lipperini....is that Joel? He had a classic battle with John Heinricy at last year's SCCA runoffs. John held off Joel in the last laps...even taking his Cobalt up on 2 wheels! I am recognizing more and more names on the list of One Lap drivers. Look forward to the blogs and stories....they are entertaining.

Sooper HFB fastness aside, that's a sexy beast.

A few thoughts...

1) That car is dead sexy. Hosted a Porsche Club Drive and Dine down here last Saturday and one nice fellow showed up in his White Cayman S which he has started modifying tastefully. He has done an exhaust and put in seats that look exactly as those above. I kept eyeballing his car at stops and he kept asking about the Evo. We had mutual car admiration and lust. We are considering getting our cars together for a play date on some of the roads here before long.

2) Of course the car feels down on power. YOU DROVE A SUPRA LAST YEAR!!! Anything is going to feel tame after that you freak! Just strap a seat on a rocket sled if you want an upgrade in power, otherwise your going to be a bit bored. If you need a little more go just slide some bottle rockets into the exhaust and light them off at the apex of important turns. The Yates should get a giggle out of that.
