Congrats on the win!

Was that an "at speed" lap?

How hard were you pushing it?

BTW, you ran that red light.........

That was the 1:30.170 lap that won the entire event! -needless to say their was a lot of time left on the table.

For one, we had ignition problems all weekend and that was the first lap where I could go full throttle. All previous sessions I couldn't go more than 1/2 throttle otherwise the ignition would start to break up. With 20mph higher straightaway speeds, I didnt give enough braking room to make turn 1 -which was overshot.

A big reason behind this was because our brake bias was way off with too much rear bias, this was the first weekend on our awesome new Yokohama A048's, but that combined with our the slick street circuit resulted in far too much rear bias. We never pushed the car before the final competition enough to test the brake bias.

The following lap had oil all over the track from 2 other cars blowing up.

Can't wait to go back! The times should drop by many seconds by everyeone -closer to SWC-GT times. The entire weekend was one of survival and electronic problems for all the competitors... But racing at LB was an amazing opportunity for all...

The Evasive Evo was running well on both practice and qualification sessions but did not do as well on Saturday due to a technical issue.
AJR S2000 lacked HP (240hp) to be competitive...

Although both cars did not place as well as we wanted to, we were very happy to be part of the 35th year of the Long Beach GP.

Special thanks to:

Evasive Motorsprots and AJ-Racing for supporting Tim and I (grassroot racers)
Superstreet Magazine for the event
Blanka98 & DigitalHorizon for photography
Aaron @ Speedventures for Timing Support

I like this shot..

And Video:

Video of the Evo is from Thursday's Practice Lap. 1st Time on the track.
