AEM Tru Boost max psi
AEM Tru Boost max psi
I know the Tru Boost says 29psi, but I'm sure it will actually boost higher. Is there anyone on here running 30-32psi with the standard 29psi Tru boost? thanks

I would PM CBRD I've asked this question to them before since I run a Tru Boost. They told me they have ran up to ~32psi without the solenoid.
Me personally have seen 29.5psi on my car when it's below 20* outside. That's without the solenoid.

I'm pretty sure Aaron said in my bbk dyno thread that the Truboost will display only up to 2 bar/29.4 psi on the gauge but will continue to control boost until its out of WGDC. If you get the additional sensor then it will display up to 50 psi. Ex: my WGDC on my Tru-boost is 70 and my map was reading 29.3 or something. I could run it till I'm out of dc (90) but would have to refer to the map for the psi reading I'm thinking (not that I'm going to run more boost though or anything).
Thanks boostedwrx. I was going to ask Aaron but I have talked to him three times today and kept forgetting to ask the question. You like the tru boost overall?

Yea it's fine for what I use it for. Before I got a boost controller I asked Luke and Aaron what they preferred and what they liked tuning on and they said the tru boost so that's what I went with. I think there's a boost plot from drift office on my dyno thread - https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ev...370ft-lbs.html

Whats up Mikey, you don't like the HKS ebc? Since you have that you could always use that solenoid and utilize ECU boost by gear... if Aaron would do that for you, that way you aren't spending money on another boost controller...
