Todays track day!

was sick. i learned alot first day out i was hitting 2:14's at button willow on stock pads and rotors..... had the time of y life. first time to actually let lose on the track too. and went through 3 tanks of gas. just thought i'd tell everyone cuz i'm excited can't wait to go every weekend i can.......

anyone got suggestions on tire pressure for bridgestone re01's? thats was my only concern and i definatly need track rotors and brakes

haha it was awesome.... ive been to an hpde with nasa and wasnt impressed.... this time im making sure to keep going back just not with a club

40 psi after coming off the track hot seemed to work good for me with the RE-01 R's.

Were you running in HPDE1?

I believe that Fri. June 20 was open test 'n' tune the day before the NASA weekend. This allows for a lot of track time because they usually have only 2 run groups, open and closed wheel.

Hey we met on Friday at Buttonwillow. IIRC you said your name is Nick? You came up to me while i was prepping. Shoot me a PM if you have any questions.

And to answer the previous post, this was Buttonwillows Open Test day. There was very little turnout so it was a wide open day with no specific groups. Although, i only ran the 2nd half of the day so i dont know what they were doing in the morning.

whats going on man..... ya the day was awesome got hot later but most of the day i was by myself maybe 3 cars on track at a time.... was nice till half dayers came then there was more of a turnout..
