Good job. I saw that the Unlimited AWD cars were really flying on the main track, getting close to 2:00 flat. That's fast!

yea, I think top speed subi ran 2 min flat. Tarzan was at 2.02

On the other note, today in practice I ran 53.590. But there was a Miata (I think that ran 53,183) I'm 4th overall so far after practice, but there are 5 guys in 53s withink .01 sec within each other. I'm going out in half an hour for the time attack session, we'll see how we do. Competition is really intense this year... Why weren't you running evo8ltw?

It wasn't worth the trip and expense to me to run on the Patriot Course. I would have come if the Street Class had been run on the full course.

Did you run patriot course before? That's my first time, but after running it I kinda like it. I wasn't too happy about patriot course too, I watched all the video on youtube and wasn't happy, cool course though. Paddock sucks big time, impossible to work on the car.

I've done HPDEs on the South Course and the Grand Course, which incorporate the Patriot Course for the most part, but I've never driven just the Patriot Course. Last year when Redline came around, I signed up for Modified so that I could be on the full course.

i did the tarzan lapping sessions today in the LY VIII i had a blast but one question..... this was my first road course event and i absolutely destroyed the shoulder on my drivers side front tire. Any suggestions here. I assume i was running to low pressure but not completely sure... I felt very confident though and kept pitching the car in very hard. Also i feel like i was fairly competive with a 240 that was on race tires to my street tires.. I hope to get some coilovers and another set of wheels soon. Anyway Great fun!

Yea, I finished 1st in AWD running the best of 53.138. Placed 3rd overall.

6 of us trashed last year's record.

Overall
1st. Miata - 52.956
2nd. SRT4 - 53.106
3rd. Me - 53.138

Competition was stiff, I really had a blast out there.

Next year with some more mods i will be knocking on 52 sec. door. So close to a 53 sec. run. Iam amazed how well the X did against some of the modified cars that were there. Everyone had at least coilovers and better tires and i still beat them. I missed 3rd place in S-AWD by 1 or 2 thousandth.
