You beat me by a few minutes... Yes, Subaru, yesterday Suzuki, then Honda pulls from Formula one. It is a Domino efect started by Bush! <<< I am not kidding either.

*Waits for the inevitable "Subaru sucks anyways" comment*

So who does this leave in the WRC apart from privateer teams? All I can think of are Ford and Peugeot.

If people really think the economy is the only reason Suburu is pulling out....I would pull your head out...of the sand and look up the proposed 2010 S2000 regulations. The economy gave them the cover they needed, They have'nt exactly been tearing up the scene over the past 2 or 3 seasons.

And to those who blame this on Bush... Are you guys really that...

This is definitely a sad trend for enthusiasts. More competition makes racing better, and as we all know technology trickles down from high level racing efforts. Less money spent on racing development, means less advancements will trickle down to us chickens.

I hope the economy does not effect the racing budgets of the smaller shops that compete in time attack and such. The things they learn on the track directly benefit us in the performance community.
