I never got over to St. Croix. But I used to live on St. Thomas.
A lot of hills and corners. The only place they raced was a 1/8 mile, built on their land fill. Yes, the dump.
St. Croix has a lot more space. Your car on those roads would be a blast.

I grew up on St. Croix '74-'83 and lived there for a year in 88. There was no race track or racing scene back then, but there is 1 small stretch of straight highway 3 miles maybe.. it's been a while. Tons of curvy hill roads which should be fun, beware of pot holes and taxi buses and the occaisional mongoose. The real problem with cars and island living is rust. Nice cars are a rare thing on St. Croix. You'll see lots rusted out rice, primarily small cars. Bunches of Ford/Mazda small cars, Nissans, Hondas, and probably a few Mirage's. When I was a kid there were a lot of VW bugs there too (a few nice ones) but they've all since gone to rust heaven. You might consider storing your Evo here in the States to avoid it rusting out while your there. Beware of crime and vandalism as there is greater desparity on the islands. You can probably pickup a beater island car / jeep that will serve you better than the Evo.
Cruzians are not into fast anything lol.. it's all about lime'n and drinkin rum. Bureacracy and lazyness at it's finest. Welcome to the carnival. Oh yea people drive like you know what there, and they drive on the left. Keep left.
