9/21 Wash DC Autocross
My wife's half Finnish, but it doesn't seem to be doing me a damn bit of good!
WRT to wheel/tire size for ESP, I would probably lean towards a 17x9 or 9.5 with low enough offset for a 275 Hoosier to clear the suspension (presumably coilovers), though 18" would be a possibility...

This is just too funny. I might be wrong, but way back when I was in ametuer rallying, the incredably famous and unbeatable Lancia Delta Integral was also driven to championship by some Finish driver(s)
Some days those were...

JTodd, thanks for the wheel information; it looks like I need to figure out the 17s as well
Frankly, there are more people willing to stay on 17s then move up to 18s, its interesting.Again, thanks all for sharing the information, both wheel and ancestors

I always wonder how the Fins do it. A country with a population smaller than New York City, generation after generation produces some of the world's best drivers! Must be all that land "space" available coupled with plenty of back roads.

Some days indeed. I wish I was older then to be able to enjoy it fully. Lancia Delta Integrale S4 effectively put an end to Group B cars back in mid 80s (after the deadly crash of one of the drivers, I forgot his name, but he was Scandinavian as well)
Yep, and Jtodd was too. And I have to say, the lift-off was more than few millimeters, more like 1-2 inches. It looked impressive for sure, but I suspect the rear sway is a little too thick for the Evo in stock form; compared to the spring rates I mean.
Another thing you can see in those photos is that JTodd's front A/R is making a difference on body roll, compared to Filip's setup
JTodd is probably leaning 1 to 1.5 degrees less.

I'm sure the reason that I was rolling less was that I was taking it easy that run
Or maybe it's because the Advans actually do grip better than V700s at Rosecroft...and that's the real reason Jack beat me
I think a bigger front bar will pay some dividends for us. I'm waiting to see what Works comes up with there. If all else fails, I'll get a Cusco bar and match it with the adjustable bracket I already have. Or maybe Fatih will come up with something interesting

. As I mentioned in several other discussions, which most do not agree with me, is that I do not like anti-roll bars most of the time.But... since it is stock rules don't let us too far, roll bar is pretty much it

Btw, did you know that a hollow A/R bar actually provides more twisting resistance and a solid one within the same outer diameter? And its lighter too
