Rain tire options for the track?
Also remember if your in a multi-lap session (I.E. an ST race or regular session etc) that you'll want to hit the puddles every now and then to help "cool" the street tires as they aren't really designed for the abuse like using r-compounds. The same applies to rain slicks, but in their case you'll actually blister the tire if they overheat. So use your best judgment with your weather patterns. If the track dries out quickly, I'd still say a full tread r-compound is the way to go if you don't have a crew to swap tires, and your going for TT/TA times.
NT-01's are terrifying in the rain, even at full tread depth. The Z1'a are great for a street tire, as are the R1R's. the new Hankook RS3 might be decent in the rain. You cant beat a hoosier wet or possibly the new kumho wet though.
If you're considering a street tire for dual duty, check out the Tire Rack test results for the Goodyear Eagle F1 Assymetric.

It wet-lapped their test course a second faster than the Dunlop Z1. Doesn't look near as sexy, but when you compare actual performance results...looks a lot better.

I never used the Dunlop Z1, so i have no comparision to that.
Michelin PS2 rock in the rain.
But you didn't define what your main issue was - if it's just a wet track without puddles, then r-comps will still stick (chop em up a bit so they warm up faster, just thin slight lines between the treads)

My pirelli group N rally tires, semi used up already, I just used em to burn em up on a track day, but they stick in the rain once you heat them up... I'd say they can compare to an average/good street tire in the dry, once they heat up in the wet.
If you have puddles on the track though, aqua planning and the tires on the picture share the same name, you can be sure of that
