where have you guys raced?
We have raced Rally NY in Monticello so far. The car is currently with out fabricator getting prepped for the rest of the season including Rally West Virginia, Black river Stages and the second, gravel running of Rally NY. Next year the schedule will be much fuller. We are running several hillclimbs as well between the full stage rallies.
ok really nice.
waht class do you guys run in?
my only outside event was in trinidad, im gonna run rally barbados next year along with rally trinidad, im gonna try and come to the states for a rally one day though.
have you guys ever seen any of the rallies in jamaica or the caribbean?
we have alot of great stages at our international rallies.we've hosted teams from all over
mexico wrc teams, teams from england, america all over

Currently,
We are running races that are part of the USRC.
If you are interested, we can send you along our future schedule.
The Rally West Virginia, and Rally NY (Fall) will also be part of this year's races.

The car is running in GP (Super Production) Class. Two year from now we will be in the Open Class competitions. I have seen a view of some of the races down there. Quite a strong field of racers, as well as very difficult terrain.
ok really nice.

For the time being, no. USRC is considered the second tier after Rally America (although that isn't necessarily true of the competitors). Hopefully, our team along with the other great drivers will eventually bring some more promotion to this championship, as well as the promoters pushing much harder for recognition.
The rallies down there look like alot of fun, I always like seeing footage of Barbados. I think I may bring the wife down there at some point, rally and the carribean, how can you go wrong?
We run GT class, not GP LOL.
USRC tends to be alot of the guys who aren't independently wealthy or famous for something other than rally. Funny thing is that some of the guys like Lawless have had alot more luck and better results in the international events than the star power names in Rally America have. You also have a greater diversity of cars, including more classics and rear drives. USRC also has the only tarmac events in the US. It may not get the coverage but the racing is every bit as good.
Rally America has the tv coverage because of the personalities that run the series. Great racing and skilled drivers, but the main difference between the two is celebrity. Had Pastrana and Block decided to go with the USRC to rally I think the USRC would probably have the television coverage. Might be on the way though, Block comes to Rally NY regularly and is looking at running a rear drive old escort in some events like Idaho. It also comes down to the fact that many of the late great SCCA Prorally events went to the Rally America. I'm sure I'm leaving some parts out but that seems to me the basics of how it has fallen.
You want to see USRC, then you have to go with youtube, of course by the time ESPN puts stuff on for Rally America all the good vids have already circulated the web and been watched by the fans anyway. I'll close by saying I'm not trying talk bad about Rally America, it is a great series and the competitors are top notch, its just that myself, I kind fall in line more with the philosophy of Nasa RallySport (the sanctioning body for USRC) which is more accessible to the checkbook racers working on their own sweat and their own dimes rather than getting huge sponsors. We all want big sponsors no doubt, but it sometimes keeps great drivers out of the competition if the barrier to entry is too high. Either way, heres to Rally in the US, and the Carribean!

and i never break anything! weeellll.... i've broken rims, fenders, lights and axles. but nothing serious. LOL
Well, i haev alot of appeal, seeing that im the only female in a evolution in the caribbean, and i havnt seen any other females from the states either, so i think to come to the states would be a nice move.
i dont care to race full time or for money, its just a hobby of mine.
so if you could send me a schedule of some nice events, not too far.
maybe something in florida
