Currently I'm not rubbing at all in the inside. The problem I'm having is that when the suspension compresses, I'm getting rubbing on the outside of the tires with the front and rear fenders. I think the wider Voltex front fenders will help solve the front issue. I need to roll the rears some more. Plus hopefully throwing a little more camber at it will resolve the issue. Or possibly raising the ride height a little.

I love this thread. Awesome cars. I look forward to seeing some of them at the NW tracks this year.
I'm still an HPDE guy but going through this thread makes me want to start a project with a full cage
+1 for English Racing. There is no way I can list all the ways these guys have helped me keep my car running. We built the car in stages, tested and built some more.
Lucas at English racing has started tracking along with several of the guys. It is great to share the track with your mechanics!
+1 for Jared JID2, he's a great guy, always helpful, and has some great parts for sale. Love the binary lowering brackets he designed.
First day at the track, parade lap with Dad.
The guy in the Ferrari F50 was my car's original owner.
A year later with a borrowed trunk and wing, BFG R1s, stock turbo, GSC S1 cams, and full suspension & brake mods.
Always bring your rain tires in the NW. These are Advan AD08 on kosei rims
Starting out 2012 with new Aero. Gave Aaron at English his trunk back and installed the APR GTC-300 wing and a Autovation splitter to balance the down forces.
I picked up a spare RS trunk so I didn't have to drill holes in mine. I'm still pretending this car is a daily driver...
The new daily driver is looking rather unmodified next to its evil sibling

Nice ride....and that's how I hope my drive way can look in a few years (X + Evo VIII track car). How do you find the the AD08's in the rain? I am looking for a rain tire for my 2nd set of track rims long term.
Also did you happen to track the car with just the APR wing but no front splitter? I'm wondering if long term i can get away with that wing and just the beat rush under panel initially since I still drive the car around and those front splitters aren't dd or snow friendly for that matter.

If you're in Redmond, then snow shouldn't be much of an issue....unless you're hitting the pass all of the time during the winter, and I always found the roads in Western WA to easily be smooth enough to DD a lower front lip like that. Way better than Eastern WA/Northern Idaho. That's for sure.

You need construction work grade splitter. I had to navigate a road to my house under construction and they had some serious piles of dirt packed from digging ditches - basically huge dirt speed bumps. The dirt lost.
