What's freaky is if you watch Marty's vid, at the 9:00 mark you can see that slow red Miata in the previous turn - and see it in the SM vid too. Marty wasn't too far ahead of the SM pack!

And if you are a novice driver and are running with an organization that doesn't enforce point bys, you may want to consider taking your business and track time elsewhere. Open passing has no place in novice/beginner or even intermediate run groups. That leaves far too many variable open to chance, in the hands of drivers with limited experience.

At the 9:08 mark or so you can see the Lotus spin on my vid. He knew I would have a good run up the back and beat him up the hill so he was trying very hard to get the M3 between us. I cant tell from the video if they touched or not.
