I wonder if your temp problems (brakes and fluids) would be less on a longer track with more airflow and higher speeds? I hate the 3000 pads. They wear terribly quickly. I'm a Hawk DTC fan. Good stopping power and they don't tear up rotors like the more aggressive pfc compounds (and they last).

I miss the track. Haven't been out this year yet.

Rich,

we thought of the same thing.... the cooling issues on the oil side i think will lessen with speed, but the braking wont..... we were only going about 130mph braking down to about 35-40 mph... if we were on the big track at summit the car should hit 170ish mph and we will need to haul it down to 35-40 mph... and im pretty hard on the brakes from having driven carbon brake'd lmp cars.... I demand the car STOPS!

i think we have it rectified.... finishing some ducting today i hope... new clutch is back in.... and new shifter bushings and our 20w-60 motul 300v endurance oil... (we had amsoil fluids for it for this past year in the trans, which im keeping, but switching to amsoil engine oil)

more pics and videos shortly

I'm going to need updated pics and in-car video.... clearly Caleb has time to deliver such things.

It's been 3 days. Good video takes 1 hour of editing per min of finished goods.

Chad said you don't need to clean the floors or photoshop images until the in-car video is done. Then again it may of been this Chad who said that...

Or maybe it was that Block guy who's name is on the side of the car, I think this is him...
