Unless there was some sort of mechanical failure, Bergmeister caused Mags to spin. Bergmeister pushed Mags into the wall. Mags tried to avoid him. Mags finally passed Bergmeister. Then around 1:47 you can see Bergmeister turn into Mags which caused him to spin. The reason why Mags spun was because he was ahead of Bergmeister.

If ya can dish it out you should be able to take it....
IMO Jorg did what most everyone at that level would do, it wasnt gentlemen racing.
Last race of the season and you have a very aggressive driver passing you in all the wrong ways then when he is called on it he gets even more aggressive.
Mag was going to punt him hard if he could in T11 but instead lightened up the Porsche's rear end preventing the drive he needed to match the vettes down the straight. It was dirty.
Then Jorg was trying to cut him from using the dirty maneuver mentioned above to win the race, drove him to the wall, and Mag didnt lift.
Hopefully everyone learns their lesson.
But as I stated above... dont dish it if you cant take it.

Great race, great ending!!!!!!

Motorsports is all about those who can push and bend the rules to get the most out of the given requirements, not about having fun unfortunately.

Neither of those two drivers are on track to make friends....

ABSOLUTELY...so you seen this also prior to the drag race to the line. Jorg just drove defensively to the line despite the fact that Mag did infact bump him causing him to lose that valuable traction during acceleration. Jorg did what he could do to preserve his honest lead....defend to the wall. Mag knew he may get pushed to the wall, and gambled his way to the front-or at least tried. the end result was not pretty...

I'm with Jorg on this one. I think this situation is similar to officals letting receivers and corners in football going at it a bit instead of calling interference.

You better be able to take what you dish out. Jan did some dirty moves at the beginning of the lap and the tap into the rear of Jorg on the last corner was dirty too.

I hope this comment doesnt light a fire (it shouldnt since we're not all on like a Dodge Ram forum or somethin lol) but how the hell can anyone watch NASCAR and think its amazing...they're missing out on some real racing.

Mag had the better car, once he passed Berg he put a few car lengths on him. They actually raced very clean until the last lap, but then even at T1 it was obvious Berg was not going to let Mag pass without contact, so Mag went for it. I don't think Mag deserved to be put into the wall, personally.

Right. Berg just got "nascar" in his head and it was over before that last turn began.
