you can not buy this setup anymore. they only offer the 6 piston setup now. cost for the setup is $20,000 for the brake setup.

the weight of the car? how low can we go?? at the level the car is at it cost ridiculous amounts of money to shed weight. the car before it was caged weighed 2850 with a 1/2 tank of fuel and no driver.

Wow look at that diffuser!

Wonder if it could work with a Evo X setup.

it wasn't originally for this car, but since i had it sitting in my garage for a couple years, i figured i'd use it. i don't see why you couldn't use it on a X. the sections that were cut out will be reworked, since the exhaust will be redone.

its a Version Select bumper and front fenders from Touge Factory. the rear fenders are voltex. i didn't have any problems with the small radiator last year. i will be having a custom one made to utilize as much dead space up front though for this year. it won't be too much bigger since i use a huge Setrab oil cooler up front.

the front tow hook is made for a porsche. it is a folding unit.

Very serious build - car looks great.

What kind of problems did you have last year? Sharing the bad helps us get good.

Looks like a monster oil cooler there! Likely since both the oil and coolant are sharing the heat load having the oil cooler keep heat in check helps the coolant stay at manageable levels as well. Getting a slightly larger radiator can't hurt though, and the more airflow you can channel through there the better.

Thanks for the Info!

that's the apr carbon fiber diffuser. i think its more of a parachute than anything. looks good on a street car though. you're better off spending $750+shipping on a custom one that will be functional.

thanks.
i made some good purchases and bad. i went through a lot of mechanical parts. that's all a part of racing and dialing in your setup the way you like it. i hate to say this but, as you know, it depends on your budget and how competitive you want to be.

what i will say is,
don't go in over your head. racing is not cheap, so budget properly.
make sure you check all your fluids.
check every bolt, nut, hoses, fittings and connectors.
be prepared for something, if not everything to go wrong. maybe that should of been first on the list.

of course if you run near stock power, you will probably have less issues.
but, my sickness will not allow me to.

This is the part that nobody realizes about road racing untill they get into it.

So many variables, so many loads and forced exerted on the car and it's parts that arent not even tested in other arena's.

Serious stuff, serious car, very interested to see how it goes.
