Running a Fire Extinguisher
can anyone tell me where I can buy one of these little mounts for under the front of the seat?
I cannot find any specifically being sold for Evo 9.
I'd like to minimize my risk of losing my baby.

I would recommend an actual fire system, or practice, practise, practise getting it out and using it.
Had an explosion and fire at a drag race (not very) recently and the driver was fiddling around with the extinguisher so long we ended up having to drag him out. time is precious in a fire.
Since then i leaned toward a full system.
edit: forgot I have a youtube video of it!

Full system is best for engine fire, you also want a handheld in the cabin, I keep mine in the back behind the rear pillar...should probably move it as it requires to get out of the car and open the back door. Not convenient when an actual fire occurs..
SFI or FIA rated if your going with a full system. SPA makes a great little system called multi-flo and it's refillable/serviceable at multiple outlets. Handheld wise go with a Halon like this one:

From this you can make your own mounting tabs. If you prefer bling you can opt for some Brey mounts, at which point your spending as much as a full system. However small price for peace of mind.

There are some universal brackets out there, http://www.bkauto.com/R_9540_Fire_Ex...t_p/r-9540.htm
I only made one batch of these back when time attack was cool and they required it.
