Juuuusssttt making sure, would have to question what's in the water over that way Nice list of parts, what all are you doing to reinforce the rear with all the metal taken out?

i have the cage there already to support the rear, with all the crosses we need+ we will get 2 additional ones. And more for the front to the engine bay where also will be major changes.
I actually talk like i am doing it when i am not LOL
The guys know they stuff there, so i am sure they will taken care of any additional surfacing problems.

How much did all that sheet metal weigh? I'm still hesitant to do that to mine...but getting closer by the day. LOL

I didn't weigh it yet, still cutting stuff off. But my guess is the box with the little pieces weighs about 25-30lbs, the back shelf weighs around 20 lbs, front shock tower brace/ rain tray/ heater box/ original dash bar/ etc.. weighs about 50-55 lbs. So I would say we got about 100lbs off the car so far.

If the sheet metal you've removed weights more than 25 lbs I might have to go for it. I've just seen less than stellar results when a buddy gutted the back parcel shelf in his GC8 Impreza...a whole afternoon for just ~5 lbs and the car looks hacked up now.

so more work has been done in the weekend
some pictures of that:

you guy remember the ****ty oem clutch master cylinder, right?
RKT motors fixed that now i have a perfectly "stock " upgrade . fits feels like a stock, but now i have a AP CMC .
here is the old crappy one /not our picture /:


and here is the new upgraded one:




the new springs for MT Washington, with a much better rate:


the oem heater box vs the new one.... LOL


and still cutting out parts from the car and the doors. we were able to take out over 10lb each door!



we measured the crap it came out lately and we are around 100lb less !!!!
