Lightweight Autox brake rotors

Looking for an alternative to the Girodisc Ultralight Rotors. Fantastic performance, but they just wear out too quickly. Any other recommendations for stock sized rotors?

Kevin, these are custom rotors by them. They weigh 14lbs. Sadly, they are only expected to last a dozen or so autocross events. They truly sacrifice weight for durability.

Longer than they are supposed to!

I think they have roughly 17 Autox events with a codriver. Plus maybe 2,500 miles.

There is a small stress crack in the front rotor. I'm happy they have lasted this long. Their standard rotors are practically indestructible. But weigh 18lbs. (still way lighter than stock)

The Baer rotors will be fine for autocross. I had one crack during a Lime Rock time trial event. They can not handle heavy long duration braking sessions. They are light but are a inferior casting. If you buy a set, you can have my other rotor as a spare. I would stick with the performance friction two peice rotors if you cannot afford the brake package recently developed by Essex (AP).

There is always the AMS small brake kits that I think use Wilwood components. I believe DaveK is using a version of that kit for Rally/Hillclimbs . . .

Sadly, street prepared rules dictate that overal diameter of the rotor must remain stock.

huh... Well if you used my iPhone app "autoxlogger" you would know exactly how many runs you would have

shameless plug aside, I would have to replace those rotors each season. These are the two piece rotors right?

Lol well I think they are only supposed to last 10 or so events. YMMV

Thought about doing some CAD work and drilling some stock rotors to save weight? You really don't need all the braking the Brembo's offer for AutoX.
