What about non-MR Bilsteins with some Sprint springs? There's currently a member on here selling a set of SE struts with 30k and new sprint springs. That at least a good start for 450?

pshh....I only have like 23 track days under my belt vs your 10. I am about same hp as you, but 25wtq down from you and I never been to that config before (SOW CCW). I also only ran 2.5 sessions vs your 5 that day. Im on 91oct and you on E85. You were ahead by 0.3s. Thats like 2-3 car lengths. Yes, I was on NT01s and you were on Federal 595RS-R. You were on Megans and I was on Robispec KW Clubsports, which was my first event on them. Our alignments were pretty similiar. My car is a little more porky than yours. So we both had our advantages and disadvantages.

Basically we had about the same car. You had more track time on that config. So, its all about seat time really.

Btw, congrats again Ben. You deserved it. Drove the car ***** out. I also drove the car ***** out as best I could, but wasn't enough. Next time...

Hey 23 days is a lot Zhong You make 15whp more than me and 25wtq less, so it's about the same. With that much seat time you can learn the track really quick because it's not a HUGE track like B/W, big willow, or chuckwalla. I bet my car is fatter than yours Well actually I'm way heavier than you too haha I didn't run all those events recently either. Those four times that I have gone that direction have all been done over the course of two years..........so, EFF YOU ZHONG jk buddy

I believe the blue ones are the good ones and not the red ones, I forgot the name of them already -____-

Swifts ^

Red are sports. For HPDE use, I would get the SpecRs (old color was blue, they are now black).

Also found a set of used Tein Super Race c/o's. Trying to get the specifics of them now. 3-way adjustable and green is about the only two things I know besides the 1500 obo price.

Thanks for letting me know about those Swifts. I'm guessing the sports are a lower spring rate and meant for too large a drop. Aren't the SpecRs also a progressive spring? I think I read somewhere they weren't a typical linear rate.

The Spec-R is a step-linear spring.

An update:

I found a used set up off an Evo IX that is a ground control/eibach coilover kit that's sleeved. This particular set up has helper springs and runs a 6k front 8K rear spring rate. For 400 bucks I figured it was a decent staring point. I'll try and post pics up of them later.

Question, these sleeved coils don't have any front camber plates so I was thinking I could pirate the camber plates off my current coils and change out the tophats. Anyone know the feasability of this?
