Evodynamics Racing results and pic/vid thread!
Cool Vid! And you guys won on R6's...ya'll need to pony up for the a6's and really set records
Take out some other things if you have to because no other mod will give you 3 seconds like those 3 points will.

Thanks for posting the in car videos, got to love front straights with a wall along the edge at track out, always leaves that bit of doubt that you might swing wide on corner exit!
Silver X is no longer stock! Over the last few weeks, we added an ETS downpipe, ETS intake, LiteSpec titanium catback exhaust, Evo Dynamics UICP, and E85 tune. Andy at Gruppe-S gave me a great deal on an amazingly light titanium LiteSpec exhaust.

Since this is all preparation for running in TTA with NASA on Mar 17th, I wanted to have a shakedown of the car. Todd (Todd06MR) was kind enough to tow my car down with his trailer to TWS for the Driver's Edge event last weekend. Thanks dude!
We had to stop by Lowes to get some 2x12s to use as ramps to help load the car. The clearance was very tight without it.

At the track at TWS.

Unfortunately, I only ran 3 sessions before cording my used right front Hoosier R6. It may have been a little too low on pressures, and I'll need to experiment with it a bit more. I ran the rest of the sessions with my NT05 street tires. Times were decent, and I had a passenger ride along in almost every session I ran so it was difficult to get accurate, repeatable laptimes.

Since Todd didn't manage to drive his car at this event, he was my crew chief for the 2 days. The car was mechanically flawless the entire weekend, so Todd could enjoy a great weekend just hanging out and posing for pictures.

One nice side effect of the extreme heats at the track, the LiteSpec exhaust now has a nice bluish tint to it:

The car is making a ton more power with the upgrades and E85 tune. Thanks to EvoD and Richard for making a very robust tune that works exceptionally well at the track! Richard also tuned the SST shifts so now it shifts smoother while still making a *lot* more power. I now have to modulate the throttle more carefully, where I used to be able to floor it very early. And parts of the track where I was able to enter without brakes, now need a slight tap on the brakes to bring the speeds down to less insane levels
All in all, a very successful shakedown of the car after the upgrades! Can't wait for MSR Cresson!
