I seem to always have those, and there was a while that i was superstitious about filming my runs.

Really great job again!

Go pro sucks. My buddy got some kinde of cameras, much better and easier, but a same principal memory stick or usb connection and no formatting. Can go straight were ever you want it.

I've had great luck with the 2nd gen GoPro HD...the problem is when you let someone else turn them on. They switched modes and took several pictures instead of doing the video. Its actually the first time ever I've had an issue with them. Only reason I had someone else running the cameras was because I was trying to cut down on dead time in the videos. Damn...

Yeah, what kills me is that in the final rush to get stuff done, I turned on the cameras and yelled that all that needed done was hitting the top button, but I think our guy went thru the motions he'd been doing all the other days before with pressing and holding the front button. Oh well...I'd much rather have a good run with no footage than more crash footage.

I just picked up a set of those (takeoffs) for mine, how'd you like them? I went 275/35's though.

The 275s are a different tire from my understanding. Those are from the Sports Car Challenge series, while the ones I'm running are from the GT Cup. There was a subie running the 245 ones this year, but I don't think the driver was pushing too hard.

I'm not as familiar with the CSCC tires, but I think those are molded in the same molds as the A6 and R6 whereas the GT ones are full slicks. Another interesting thing is that the rain tires are completely different for the 275 vs 285.

The new traqmate has camera control on the gauge panel now. I haven't used it yet but it will start the camera when you start recording data.

Dave how different was your tire choice this year based on the surface changes? Or did you run a same tire set up?
Also what is a temperature change between the start to the finish in tires and pressures?
One more
How big is a air temperature change also between the start and the finish?

Thank

I ran grooved slicks.

I don't have a crew to check that stuff, so I have no clue on temps and pressures.

Depends on the year, but typically 30-40 degrees.

Thanks Dave!

If you got points to being more knowlidable in a forum towards any moderators or they loyal followers, dont be offended. It is the way things works
I got piont before that, but they titled them as off topic points and they never expires.

It actually does make things more colorful around here, so be proud of it
