Rob, isn't it true that you can start with an awd turbo car in NASSA and then use points from NASSA towards your rally America liscense?

I dont know what is NASSA means. Basically it is deppends on the senctioning body. So you will talk to them and see what happens from there.
Rally America for example doesnt really like other rally licenses in the USA... But based on your finishes , you can get a pass . So basically its about your racing history really in the States. If you always on podium, then most likelly you will get a pass no matter what. As long as it was a licensed race events. Meaning , Time Attack where you can run without Competition license will not count. But Time attack where they do requier competition license it might, specially if you on the podium many times.
NASA licenses and SCCA license i am sure they do take it for credit . But it is always about the Stewart decision and the orgenizer, based on your history in licensed races. For the AWD turbo class.
There is death in rally every year, so this is literally could be a life and death decision.
No one , not one orgenizer want anybody to come to the rally and get a unlimited license (open AWD) and get killed in the first year...

You should talk to them and see what they offer for you. You might get or not. I cant say it for sure.

this is just happened recently... In rally you are also responsible for at least another person , next to you..
