What a great track. I remember the track from the 60's. It still has that small track charm. That video of the Evo IX is awesome. It was really flying on that lap. Moar pics and videos please!

No doubt, congrats to Andy! That's a very impressive time. I think I could have at least been the next fastest time from the data of the few laps I did run. . Oh well, time to forget the bad days at the track.

The track is pretty cool! Narrow and tight but still really fun. But, that freaking patch job on the turn before the front straight was so wrong. You could feel it getting eating up on every run. I think you could have carried about 5 more mph thru there had it even been potholes and not that stuff.

I'll get some in-car stuff up later.
yes those patches got really bad. everyone's time seem to get worse throughout the day. i didn’t bother making many more timed runs. to take the correct line you have to drive on the rough stuff, if you avoid the rough stuff you're losing 5-6mph on both turns 1 and 7. 7 being very important as it leads to the front straight.
Really crappy about your car Jerdeitzel, hope its back up and running soon. I think i got some pictures of the rod laying out of the block. I'll post that up later as well. still un-packing and unloading stuff from the long weekend.
I’m very happy the rain held out for most of the day.

I just spent some time going thru Traqmate data. It looks as if the car was on the downward spiral starting the first event of the year. It was slowly loosing power with every high rpm shift. I was wondering why my HP seemed low at RA in the data. I was down 80hp at the start of this event from where it was. I show a max of 280hp from my data.

I want to try out the Hoosier A6's and maybe go with a 305. in the off season i plan to replace the stock pistons and rods with something that will hold a bit more power. i want to turn the boost up a little more (50-60hp) and i bet thats good for almost another second.
