I'm researching brake pads/fluid and I want to see what most people run or suggest. In regards to "track" evo im referring to time attack and autox. I currently I have PFC 2pc rotors on my evo. Thanks
Many folks have had great success running AMSOIL DOT 4 racing fluid,

my question for eveyone is, are you running matching compounds front/rear or running a lighter friction pad rear?

Personally, it has been my experience that aggressive compounds in the rear don't heat up enough and thus less braking coefficient, reducing stopping power.

This was very evident when I ran the same pads all the way around at my last event.

Endless RF650 is great, Baer 2-piece fr rotors and just put on some EBC bluestuff (Orangestuff is their step up) I have yet to try out so I can't speak for those.

Answered this type of thread multiple times before, but here goes again:

I used Hawk DTC-60's almost exclusively. AMSOIL DOT4 fluid.

I actually still have some left for sale (thread link in sig). I've done tons of reviews on each, just search my screenname for information. I had failed attempts with ST43's and Motul (separately) in the past. This was on a tracked Evo; Time Trials and racing - on Hoosiers.

I have used DBA 5000 for 2 years, get 1 season out of the discs, gonna try PF 2 pieces this season.
For pads, usd to run DTC60s frt /rr, now switched to PF 01 frt /rr with amazing success. Last set installed were the PF 08s to try em out- seems to last longer- zero fade, zero.

Brake fluid, using the Gulf Competition RF1000, same boiling points as SRF, made in the UK, no pedal drop at all. I never bleed for a whole season.

This recipe is easy, the under hood is another story!!

Go performance friction. Experimented with all brands and PFC is fantastic... Great pricing as well

01 seem to be the best balance between heat capacity and braking power

I also only use Castrol SRF. Never really experimented with other brands as much as I did with pads/rotors. But Castrol has never let me down. A tad pricey though
