Wanted to find out if anyone was planning on racing a EVO in T1 this year. If so I would be interested in seeing you race. I am in the CENDIV region and typically go to tracks like Mid-Ohio, Gratten, IRP, Gingerman. Please let me know if you plan on attending any events at these tracks.

i think people have figured out that the Evo doesn't have a chance against Z06's... unless it was snowing..... hell a good running semi prepped (alignment, hoosiers, open exhaust) Evo can barely keep up with a T2 (same mods as evo) S2000 around Summit Point.....

 

I figured it would be impossible for an Evo to get a win. I just thought someone have setup a car while they wrote letter after letter to th comp board to get the car relcassed. Would have been neat to see one race even if it wasn't competitve.

Why can't the evo keep up with the s2000? Is it the weight difference? RWD?

 

However, there is someone racing an STI in the T1 class. I believe somewhere in the Cali region. It's not an EVO, but at least we can see how it does against the Vette's.
