Have you used the ciro plates? Doing my alignment at a friends shop it was no issue whatsoever to adjust the Caster, definately no need to remove the coilovers, so I'm not sure where you are coming from.

Thanks for the feedback.

- AFAIK most other adjustable caster plates don't use studs pressed into the main plate. They need to use an additional steel floater part to hold the studs.
- The caster can be adjusted on the Ciro plates in about 2 min per side, once the car is jacked up. No need to remove the coil-over strut. I can post a vid if needed.
- Allows use of our trailer spacer kit, which raises the front of the 2", to clear the Evo's long nose when going up ramps. This eliminates the need to reset your spring perches.
- It may be that coil-overs are easier to install than stock struts with our design.

PM me if I can help with anything.

Rick

Yes I have. The three bolts holding the plate up have nylock nuts. Trying to loosen the nuts was impossible without holding the bolt head, which was a pita to reach. tigthening them without holding the bolt head was also not possible, again because they were nylocks.

Mmm, I see now. Your customer supplied incorrect hardware. The Ciro plates are designed to use the stock flange nuts, not Nylocks. A split washer is used under the plate to keep the bolt head from excessive turning. We use a impact gun for quick adjustment in the field.

I got these prototype camber/caster plates from TougeFactory beginning of last year and used them all season. they worked great, although i didn't do much adjusting to them, just set them on max. but if i need to adjust caster, just jack the one side up and loosen the 3 nut for the strut and you can move it by hand. i think they have these in production now.

Yeah, no nylocks on mine, got them directly from Ciro. Used the OEM flange nuts.
