(UK) Evolution Magazine - #929 Evo
Greetings again everyone. I had some pretty rare overseas press on the #929Evo that I wanted to share. Sucks that this didn't get put into my hands until after I sold the car, but oh well. Finally getting around to scanning it in.
The story goes... a columnist from the Arizona area found me somehow and wanted to do a spread on me and the car for a new upstart British magazine. His job/goal was to share some stories about racing in the US to demonstrate that even though we're 1000's of miles apart we're not all that different. And to compare/contrast the availability of tracks, cars, competition, the racing ladder system, etc. We didn't have a lot of time (or any funds) to put together a photoshoot so I merely submitted pics that I had already. Enjoy.

I've got some plans underway already. Pretty much looking for arrive-and-drive options. Although I'm definitely open to driving or helping out someone else/team (PM me).
I'm planning to run a NASA PTE sprint race at Gateway in March and have a deposit down on a Lemon's race at Gingerman in April already. I've got a few lines on other NASA regional rentals for like VIR or Road Atlanta (SE30's) if I want to take the long drive or even rock-star it and fly in --> now that adds $ quickly!
I'd like to find some Enduro rides and I'm talking with a few renters. Running longer than the NASA ~30min Sprint races are intriguing to me; the more seattime the better! Which is where the Chumpcar/Lemon's stuff comes into play and 1.5 - 2hr stints. Although my experience with Chumpcar in 2012 was pretty much a laugher (from a rules and pure competitor ability standpoint) and it was the Regional Championship even.
Didnt know the types of cars youve had...Celica, Evo 8, STi, Mustang, Evo 9. Going from a Celica to the Evo 8 must have been interesting. You know whats funny, before i bought my Evo at one point i was pretty much set on buying a Celica. If that had happened, who knows, Bueller may have never been born.
