Advice on ball joint replacement
Hey All,
So, I'm hoping to have my evo up and running shortly and am wanting to hit a couple autox events this year. I'm an extreme novice and only have a few events under my belt from about 10 years ago. My evo will be almost completely stock with the exception of a Whiteline steering precision kit (I couldn't resist installing it with the motor out), race balance shaft, acl bearings, and ARP hardware.
I'd like to run in a stock class and get the most out of the car and really learn to drive her.
Here's my big question. I was putting my axles back in this weekend and realized that the front ball joints are shot. Previous owner was running cut springs. My first thought was to install the Whiteline RCK, but I know that'll take me out of stock class. I can't seem to find an option for R&R on the ball joints. Do I just need to find used arms, or should I put in the Whiteline kit and just enjoy the car?

The rck kit will dump you in ASP or SM which a mostly stock car wouldn't be remotely competitive. Try to keep it in STU if you can or the new street class if the rules push through.
If you need some replacement control arms let me know. I can trade plus cash. I'll just use em for control arms with RCK ball joints.
