HP will depend on some of our sponsors. No less than 400whp. Hopefully in the 550-600 range.
Don't think we are keeping the heater core. Never had any issues with that last year even with it being way cold during practices days.
We would love to run the 3.91? But again, comes down to finances.
I will be running o2 this year. There is strong evidence we were running under hypoxic conditions last year. And even with my physical training, I am not at elevation normally so we are not going to risk it.
I am curious why your running a tall final drive ratio. What are your speeds at the bottom of the Mt? 150+? I live in Connecticut just above sea level. I trained last year just to crew for the Skelta team and spectate at last years event. I hiked Mt Washington a few times to prepare for Pkes. Mt Washington is 6300' were the top has 20 % less oxygen. Pikes has 40% less at the summit. 14.000"' is the FAA limit for pilots to use O2. I went from sea level to 12,500' at Devils playground Friday morning. I threw up a few times and then hiked up to the summit refusing to fail! Sunday I was much better and had just left Devils Playground before your ill fated run. I hiked up the crag trail and noticed that the cars had stopped and wondered what accident had happened. I made it to the top and waited to congradulate Jeff and Catherine at the finish.

We were spending a lot of time in between gears. Mostly 2nd and 3rd. With longer gears comes less shifting. I'm also hopeing that we can get the car to the point where the switch backs at Brown Bush and through the W's can be taken in 2nd gear. Our top speeds for practice and race day were in the low 120's.

Sorry for the late update. Things have been busy.

Cage is coming together nicely. Got the seat position mocked up.

And the dash-bar and steering column installed.

Gutted all the doors.

Unfortunately, it looks like the Evo will not be ready in this for this years running of the PPIHC. We plan to be back in full strength next year. Thanks for all the supporters. On a personal note, I am currently exploring options in other cars at the moment.
