How much you want to sell the dtc-60's for? I love this pad...been running them front and rear on my evo ix for 3 events now, on rs-3's, and they have held up great.

to be honest, im quite convinced that the pads are my issue, and im just over padded/im not hard enough on brakes (braking is the weakest area of my driving skill)

i really wish someone would by the dtc's from me so i can go with a pad i know works.
I agree, your calipers look way too fresh, you are not hard on the brakes at all. HP plus pads would better suit your driving ability and tire set up.

i have been easy on brakes for the last three events due to the bad shudder and not being able to solve it...makes heavy stops very uncomfortable leading to lower speeds, plus one pouring rain event.

trust me the dust seals were super smoked. i was nice and hard on the brakes when i ran my rc5+'s...but not really since.

Another thing you could try is cleaning all the mounting surfaces. I ran across an article (http://www.dbausa.com/tech-article-t...hen-hot-burrs/) that seemed to apply to the issues I was experiencing. Shudder at temperature only but when cold it was solid. I cleaned up the hub, the rotor front and back, and of course the wheel. Anywhere that could possibly cause something not to be flush.

This process appears to have resolved my brake shudder issues that I was having after exhausting the many other options.

well, i apparently prayed to the car gods hard enough because the damn brakes worked and i mean just plain old worked (after sitting through a 5 hour fog delay...). i ran on pocono south/east and north today...north runs through banked turn 1 and involves 1 stop from ~130mph to 60ish. the car did it probably 25 times today with zero drama...the thing just bled speed like nothing. i was finally able to modulate and release and be smoothe!

i even had a very experienced instructor/evo racer drive the car (because he wasnt happy with me not driving the car like i should haha) and he commented that the brakes felt very good, and even went so far as to say that my car overall felt very good, which made me feel freakin awesome.

it is sooooo nice to have a car that is issue free and can just go fast. but in the end i have no idea what the actual issue was LOL. i wound up running on the same centric blank rotors that i experienced the bad shudder with in may without turning them, so i guess it was either the pads or the calipers...oh well all i know is im super stoked right now.

Congrats on everything working out for you, great to hear (and see) that the issue is now behind you. Good to meet you too.
