Time Trial or Road Racing ACD Mode

Should the ACD be set for Tarmac or Gravel if you're interested in fastest lap times with no inteference from other racers? What about wheel to wheel racing?

I think with a not flashed acd with proper tires the tarmac would be better if you have a stock diffs. Also depends a lot on your driving style and other set ups.

On the stock diff or stock ACD some have had more success with Gravel and others with Tarmac, it'll all depends on your suspension, tires, and tire pressure to make up for where both of those lack in stock form. With a modified rear diff you won't see a difference in either mode since the diff actually works then. But with a tuned ACD like from ACD-Tuning AND a modififed diff, you'll find yourself wondering why the hell didn't you do this earlier

Gravel and Snow have too much lockup at turn in which promotes understeer. IIRC, the gravel and snow both have higher max pressures and taper off lockup at turn in slower. It helps keep the car straight on snow/gravel but not good for grip.

buy a ralliart or some used ACD ecu which works with a stock ECU i think Gems and Pectel does. I can be wrong on that though. After, you will even wonder more ...
