The autox looked disappointing. Super short and super tight.

Is the Shootout mostly drag and a small autox? Or do they incorporate a road course event?

 

The autocross was small, they're pretty limited on space to run it. The Shootout is still primarily a drag event, the autocross has only been incorporated for the last couple years. There's only three classes, street tire, race tire, and max effort (combo of autocross and drag racing).

 

Not trying to hijack the thread, but you guys should come up to the Proving Grounds at BIR. Full 2.5mile road course, drag, much bigger autocross, plus much more.

TTS>MaxEffort. TTS is a triple challenge of autocross, drag and road course driving. Every year the RS Motor guys dominate it, they need some new competition.

a 2 wheel drive GTR?

 

Diff controller to switch it to full RWD for the burnout and then back to AWD for the pass. GTRs have been natively RWD since the R32 and feed power forward as needed based on slip. This just keeps it RWD, pretty normal tech for the Skyline just new to most of us since we have only seen the R35s.
