Ran 1:52.7 at NASA Texas World Speedway 9/13!

Set a personal best fast lap at TWS (1:52.7) last weekend at NASA. Consistently reached 160mph at 7k RPM where I hold to avoid over revving going into turn 1. This was good for 2nd place in TT1 and 4th overall.

Curious how this time reflects others who have been to TWS. I don't have any aero yet and am curious if it is worth it. I was on R6's and my 2.4 build, suspension etc.. No cage in my car. Full interior, but back seat was out for race. I have lots of room for improving my breaking points and entry speeds. I think 1:50 is possible with more experience at this track.

Thanks to Kevin at Evolution Dynamics for track support and data logging on Sunday.

Good question! Someone forgot the GoPros, but I won't name names. I don't have one so I can't complain. However, I did get to borrow one for 1.5 laps before smoke in cabin caused me to pull into hot pits and retire from session. Dip stick spring was left off or got weak and came off.

At least one lap might be posted shortly. Will make a new thread for it.

This gives me the chills. I can't imagine what would happen at those speeds if something went wrong. But I can't imagine it would be pretty.

Get a cage in that beast!

P.S. Aero will be a significant help. I'd expect several seconds at a faster track like TWS.
