That's good stuff. Are stock cars[apologizeforbringingupNascarface] balanced for left turns?

 

They are corner balanced, but not to 50/50. Becuase of their stagger and left turn only, except pulling out of the pits, heh, they set their cars up for their track. For daily driving and predictability on the street, 50/50 is good. You'll often see the big boys setting cars up in what most would consider very bizarre ways, from their testing and specific track experience.. 50/50 helps to take the car out of the equation when evaluating track times. Helps to put more focus on the driver and keeping the car predictable. THat way you don't end up with faster left cornering than right, or more stable braking to the left than to the right.. Lots of variables, so 50/50 helps to remove one sort of.. It's a black art...

 

Can't agree more, the whole chassis tuning is. And that is why there are usually no right or wrong answer, it requires a lot of experience, intuition, and testing

 

Anyone know of any place in New York that does this?

 

I do not know this for sure, but Z1 Performance might be able to do in your area.
