AWD Pro Racing in USA
AWD Pro Racing in USA
Well, unfortunately I cannot share pictures of an Evo. Subaru on the other hand has decided to enter the new IMSA Tudor Pro Racing series. A new team has purchased the 2 cars that ran in the Grand Am years. This weekend at Lime Rock Park was the first race for the factory backed effort. The officials would not let the GS class qualify in the rain! So the grid will be set by championship points which means the Subaru's will start dead last. I told one of the drivers that this is a golden opportunity if it continues to rain tomorrow. Now you have a chance to win from last place! Anybody can take the win in a AWD car in the rain from the front row!

So it goes that Mitsubishi is so small in the USA market that we will never see a Evo race professionally. NASA will be racing at Lime Rock on the July 4th weekend and I hope to race my Evolution 8 there. It's a high level of club racing but nothing like the real show tomorrow.

Well the scooby guys did great! The #77 Sti started back in 26th position and they finished 2cd place! Looks like my pep talk worked! I also finally had a chance to talk to Matt Bell who likes Evo's and checks out EvoM from time to time. He is driving the new Stevenson Z28 Camaro. He and his codriver finished 3rd right behind the Sti.
