I didn't get a chance to comment on your post right when it went up. But in addition to the alignment issue which was probably obvious to all of us experienced guys. This particular blurb stuck out to me as well.

It's very brave for you to admit that you are not comfortable with this car behavior. But don't let it scare you! This is the exact situation that autocross is going to teach you how to handle. In the not so distant future, you will more than likely find that you like the tail to wag a bit.

The fastest cars and drivers all carry a high a slip angle in some situations. You have to be prepared for it and know how to handle it. But at no point should you lose confidence.

It sounds like you could really benefit from a test and tune or entry level autocross school. Either way, you will get tons of seat time. And you can work on getting comfortable with a lose car. Either way, good luck and hang out that tail!

sitting closer to the steering wheel to promote better steering habits also make you feel less of the oversteer-slip thinger.

i'm still not convinced it's alignment, especially if the asc is completely reigning it in.. isn't this how the evo x is supposed to handle? a lot of people first driving the x commented how unnatural the oversteer feels at first
