Corner entry oversteer - autocrossing - Evo X
I hate tail happy cars and get very /very/ nervous if the rear end shows even the slightest signs of stepping out during cornering. I love autocrossing but whenever this happens my confidence in the car plummets and my times suffer. Today was my third time autocrossing with the new car and I had to run with ASC on because the car would oversteer with it off.
It's very brave for you to admit that you are not comfortable with this car behavior. But don't let it scare you! This is the exact situation that autocross is going to teach you how to handle. In the not so distant future, you will more than likely find that you like the tail to wag a bit.
The fastest cars and drivers all carry a high a slip angle in some situations. You have to be prepared for it and know how to handle it. But at no point should you lose confidence.
It sounds like you could really benefit from a test and tune or entry level autocross school. Either way, you will get tons of seat time. And you can work on getting comfortable with a lose car. Either way, good luck and hang out that tail!

i'm still not convinced it's alignment, especially if the asc is completely reigning it in.. isn't this how the evo x is supposed to handle? a lot of people first driving the x commented how unnatural the oversteer feels at first
