that happened on the first lap. the car ran for another 2.5 laps (3.1milee track) like that with no problems. Ron really knows how to build/tune a car while keeping fail-safes.
New track, no practice, and overshot a corner just slightly. Took a little longer line than optimal. Traqmate only showed about a 2 second loss of time from that excursion.
For those that are not familiar with how the OneLap format works, its a Standing start 3 laps. Not the best of the 3 laps, the total 3 laps. So you leave from a standstill and run 3 laps ball out. The total of the 3 laps is your time. No time to learn the track, the only practice you get is the short recon lap when you make your way to the starting line.
