Getting oil up to temp before first autox run

Yes, that is exactly what I was thinking...doh! I should prob leave, lol!

So I feel like you rarely hear of the oil tstat going vs s stuck coolant tstat. But Im guessing that is because all cars that I know of have a coolant tstat but not every car has an oil tstat. Guessing on an evo the tstat dictates when the oil is fed through the oil cooler vs bypassing it to help get up to operating temp quicker?

But anyway back to the oil temps Do you have a larger cooler installed? If so when you routed the lines it didnt bypass the tstat by chance did it? I know this sounds like a stupid question but I'm thinking out loud here as it might be something silly or simply a bad part. Where is the tstat anyway? Guessing somewhere around the OFH?

I have the stock cooler and yup, that's exactly how the oil tstat works. .
I'm thinking its stuck open.
