pads are the same yes. pistons are the same too. as far as i can tell most of the benefit seems to come strictly from being a larger rotor, which is odd - you'd think the heat sink would be the benefit sure, but not the actual clamping force

My 17x9.5 +38 did too but those self clearanced so it was fine. My 18x10.5 +30 were fine until I put on my 295 hoosiers and then they rubbed while cornering.

If he's only planning on running a 265 I think he'd be able to get away with something with a slightly lower offset that'll clear the rear trailing arm. Just seems like an unnecessary expense running a fairly skinny tire.

my RPFs "self cleared" also LOL. Not too bad, really. Good info on the 18x10.5s. I'd really like to run a 275 tire. Sounds like that's the ticket..or an 18x10, depending on the tire.

ours worked with a single but but that was through aluminum ...

id say low pressure with some good cutting fluid and one should be sufficient.

did you guys also notice cooler braking temps? obviously it's a much larger heat sink etc. so i'm still getting the RB vented pistons & high temp seals, but considering maybe adding ducting as well. i've got the binary eng ducts, never installed. i'm usually autoxing though, will do a few hpde's but i'm low power (~300whp) and no aero or anything

^Lol yes very strange! Gear oil is the worst! Although, its not really the smell I just friggin hate it and no matter how careful I try to be I always end up wearing it.

Best smelling fluids are gas(duh!) and Kroil which smells like Coca Cola.
